General is it possible to get 5 stud alloys to fit 4 stud hubs?

I have no interest in alloy wheels Carl , you are talking to the wrong man. There is nothing wrong with the alloy wheels that came with both my cars as far as I am concerned. I can think of 101 other things to do with that amount of cash that would give me far more pleasure and improve my quality of life. Paying off the motgage, upping my pension fund, home improvements, holidays, running costs of my bike, season tickets and other hobbies/interests, nights out and socialising with friends etc.......... Buy them now before you have more important things to do with your money.
