Hi,

I am doing this:

"Activation
With the ignition key at STOP or removed, pull the stalk towards the steering wheel and operate it within 2 minutes from when the engine is turned off. At each single movement of the stalk, the staying on of the lights is extended by 30 seconds up to a maximum of 210 seconds; then the lights are switched off automatically."

But when i open and close dors with the remote the lights doesen't swithches on. Where is my mistake?

The car is Bravo 1.6 105 hp Multijet.

After you turn off the engine, take out the key from the keylock and move the stallk so it starts showing time,30.60.90... And that will triger the light.Even though you have turned them before turning off the ignition.

As I explain, I am doing all this. I saw the time - 30, 60, 90 .... Set it 30 sec, but the lights doesen't turns on when open and close the car.

They are only available when you stop the car to get out. If you want them to come on when you unlock the car to get back in there isn't a way to do that. When you stop the car and pull out the keys the lights should come straight on when you flick the stalk. Do they do that? It will only do it after you stop remember. I have noticed however, As soon as you open your door with the keys out the ignition. the car automatically cuts all power to things like electric windows and lights. So you must not open the door for this to work. Once they are on however you can then open the door and the car will turn them off after the desired time you set.

Try it next time. Stop your car, take keys out and sit in the car without opening the door. You are still able to use electric windows electric windows. However as soon as you open the door, They will not work. I think it's a safety thing for in case you leave your window open when you leave the car. It stops strangers from winding your windows down or playing with electrics.

(Of course you can still close the windows without needing to turn ignition back on, just hold the lock button on your key and they close, same for opening, just hold the unlock button on your key and they should all open. Well the ones that are electric obviously, manual windows are, well they're manual :p)

I ma doing that:
1. Turn off the engine
2. Remove the key.
3. Pull the stalk whithin 2 mins. of trurning off the engine - the indicator for the lights switches on and on the display apears Follow me 30 sec. When pull it agait it changes 60 sec. ext.....
4. Waiting to disappear the message.

BUT when after that lock and unlock the doors the ligts doesen't switch on.

Why?

On My Bravo 198, when the key is removed, still have window control like usual, one flick towards you with left indcator stalk marks 30s light, more flicks will do 60s, 90s etc.

This is sitting in the car, are your lights turned off position? leave them on, they will turn themselves off. I leave them on all time, auto turn off when stopped on when key in, no dead battery.

When you use the remote, it wont change to headlight timer, just the indicator and carlock. Headlight will stay on for 30,60,90,

Set time, exit car, lock once, does it for me, unless i completely misunderstand something. might have

"3. Pull the stalk whithin 2 mins. of trurning off the engine - the indicator for the lights switches on and on the display apears Follow me 30 sec. When pull it agait it changes 60 sec. ext....." DOES THE HEADLIGHT COME ON AT THIS TIME IT SHOULD?

"4. Waiting to disappear the message." YOUR HEADLIGHT SHOULD BE ON AND YOU EXIT CAR AND LOCK WITH REMOTE DONT WAIT

If you lock and and then unlock the car I can only presume it thinks you're getting back in the car and turns off.

Ok that explains it. Easy.

Make the warning say either 30s, 60s or 90s, headlights go on, when you have removed the key.

This is the time you must remain still, not moving in the car otherwise is possible alarm will go off. When the headlights have turned off then exit.

It is clearly quicker to go for 30s. This will illuminate your house for 30s to watch for intruders, then exit the car

I am doind the same, but ............. not works.

British citizen here, unsure irony worked, further instructions will appear farcical and meticulous. What do you think the follow me home function is? If you have not entered the GPS the car will not follow you when you have exit.

What you mean man?
That with GPS is very stupid.

Because this is NOT what its designed to do.

Its designed to stay on when you get out of the car for X period of time, and NOT to turn on when you return back to the car afterwards like some other cars (y)

21 posts and a month on the forum, what a pathetic disrespectful keyboard warrior you've turnout to be!

If you can't even master simple forum etiquette no wonder you can't master a simple feature on a car.

Good luck asking for any more help, because if these are the ungrateful responses you give no one will bother :tosser:

2 tips - be a bit more respectful of others trying to help and RTFM!
