General How to active Follow me home?

21 posts and a month on the forum, what a pathetic disrespectful keyboard warrior you've turnout to be!

If you can't even master simple forum etiquette no wonder you can't master a simple feature on a car.

Good luck asking for any more help, because if these are the ungrateful responses you give no one will bother :tosser:

2 tips - be a bit more respectful of others trying to help and RTFM!
Please stop spaming in my thread!
The reason that you insult me is because you know thwt you are a spemer.
Acording to the roles you have to have a warn, but this will decide a moderator.
By the way - a tip for you. I am a moderator in fiat forum in my country with a very good rate.

Please a modrator to clear the thread from that spam.

For a moderator on another forum you should know better!

And btw this isn't your thread it's a public forum. If you don't like someone trying to help and then challenging the way you treat them then buck your ideas up or put me on your blocked list ;)

Or you could tootle off to your own fiat forum you moderate. I'm surprised you haven't found the help you seem to want from there, or have you insulted everyone on there already?

I realy kindly ask the moderation team to clear the spam, because the answers of that person are not in relation of the question.
The only reason is a spam.

He answered a question, the only person to start the spamming was you. This thread will be closed unless you decide to stop accusing people and listen to what they have to say. Most Easterly Pandas knows more about these cars than most on here.

O. K. But he didn't give any answer. Just spam and insult of other users. I don't sayed that he don't knows abot these cars, but still no answer of the question.
The spam starts here:
Because this is NOT what its designed to do.

Its designed to stay on when you get out of the car for X period of time, and NOT to turn on when you return back to the car afterwards like some other cars (y)

But he did give an answer?

Am I correct in assuming that you are expecting by setting follow me home that the lights will operate via the remote key?

It will not do this. .
Maybe i can't explain it well.
When i turn off my Mercedes and goes out of the car and lock the dors with remote the lights are switched on for X period which is seted in Follow me home.
That is what i am trying to set in the Fiat.

Andy please stop spamming!

I am asking for the same. Who is spaming?

Surely the OP was not spamming but TROLLING his own post.

First off, the way the follow me home works has been covered many times in this thread and I think we can safely say that a Fiat is NOT a Merc so cannot be expected to work the same way.

Learn to use with the car you have not expect it to work the way you want it too :bang:

I am not expecting anything scout.
I thing that the function follow-me-home lighting system heve to keeps the headlights lit when you get out of the car. Indispensable in dark car parks or when you're looking for the key to the garage.
Am I right? And that have to be the same in each car.

If you have followed the instructions as below and its still not working then you have a problem and will probably need an auto electrician.

1. turn off engine
2. pull the stalk the required number of times to get lights working
3. Now get out of car and lock
4. Lights stay on until timer runs out

It works in that way scout.

If it works that way, then it is working correctly, and the way Fiat designed it to work.
