Hi all, 2010 Bravo 1.4 t-jet 120hp with 112k km/56k miles, 1 out of 100 times it doesn't accept 2nd gear, grinds aloud, then I clutch and 2nd again, then goes fine again.
Apart from that, half of time the 2nd gear makes a bit of noise and feels crunchy when pops into 2nd gear. It's a very mechanical noise. 1st gear rarely needs a bit of motivation, works fine 99% of time.
When it's goes smooth into 2nd, no issues at all, but that's not the majority.
Rest of the gears are fine up-and-down, like 3rd to 2nd, or 5 to 6.
It's M32 gerabox unfortunately, but has been fixed with bigger bearings, also the shifter doesn't move while driving.
I used to have similar issue on my previous car, Audi A2, back then a ground cable got in the way of shifter-weight, but on my Bravo there's nothing even near it.
I can't see any issue under the shifter either, there's no grease between the yellow block and the white plastic of the on the shifter lever, not sure if it should be, still that could cause this.
Any idea what else can I check? Cheers
