Hi all I was just wondering which relay in the engine bay controls the lights? They won't turn off with the stalk so I want to rule it out before I throw money at it. Indicators and main beam work fine, the dipped beams won't turn off and a are stuck on permanently :( any help would be greatly appreciated guys! :) I have searched other threads and can't find which relay it is ;)

Hi mate, have a quick look here
The fault is on the list, take the fusebox lid off (the one by the battery) and give it a good dry out.
Might be worth a shot?

Cheers mate it seems to be bone dry :( just been out and had a look at it, I can't see any water or anything untoward in there :(

Well that sucks, I've had it happen before where lights stay on even though ive switched them off but when i turn the ignition back on, they switch off.
Try disconnecting the battery for the night and see if that helps?

Hi , sounds like it could be a wiring issue , most common place to look is around the engine fuse box area , maybe try pulling on the loom to try and produce the fault . Hope this helps (y)

Cheers guys I'll give her a good look over tomorrow, starting to bug me a bit now :/

Could you explain little bit more how your fix that? I have same problem in my Grande punto 2008 and i think that it¨is the same thing. How you open stalk and fix wirings inside it?

There is a panel piece on the back of the stalk, I prized mine off to reveal a red and black wire, I pulled slightly on each and the black one wasn't connected :)
