hi guys has anybody got any tips on changing a headlight bulb drivers side
on a 2007 ducato cant even get to the back of the light unit
and also want to fit drl lights can I wire straight in to the headlight wires without setting off the blown bulb light
thank you(y)

If you can't find the bulb access point on the headlight I would advise you to stay away from wiring!

The headlight bulb is hard to get at on the drivers side, The easiest way is to remove the headlight. Open bonnet remove the screws from the plastic covers above and below the headlight (3 screws) remove the covers, there are a couple of push in fixings to pull out, then you will see 3 bolts holding the light unit in, remove these (10mm socket) you can then pull the light unit forward to get at the cable connector, remove light unit replace bulb and refit.

On my 07 van I could just manage the o/s bulb
But on my 2012 3.0 there's no chance,
Headlight out, trims off 3 screws then 3 10mm bolts for h/lamp
I always carry a 1/4 drive ratchet and decent large Philips screwdriver in the van ready, only takes a few mins,

Look up LEDcom.co.uk
They do pretty good kits designed for ducatos

I fitted these in my motorhome, really easy and made to fit into bumper look like factory finish.

Won't let me post link, but if you search day running lights motorhome and click this web address ledcom.co.uk add the www
