Really having a hard time with the tensioner and the flimsy toolView attachment 450480

Now really bad luck

Yep there rubbish metal, mine broke too

I made my own

Bit of old gearbox selector and two masonry nails, technically it's using part of itself to fix itself, which I find amusing

90 degrees circlip pliers also work

I wiped it down and sprayed a solution of water and dish soap then wiped down again

90 degrees circlip pliers are a good investment anyhow

There an odd distance apart, don't quote me here

But 9.5mm seems to ring a bell

In the Haynes manual it was telling me the maximum position — I had tensioned it past the triangle bit

Let it run for 15 minutes, no trouble codes yet!

Felt only slightly bumpy at times, but it’s still jacked up on one side and first start after tearing it apart a bit is never best

Maximum is only to set teeth on the pulleys

You turn it over twice by hand

Then line up the slots
