I observed a strange thing about my grande punto 2009 petrol model. When outside temperature is more than 30° and car is heated my car starts perfectly. But when ther is normal temperature outside may be below 25° , Immobilizer problem occurs intermittent and it is difficult to start the car... Anybody knows about this? Any any idea what should be the problem

Model
Grande Punto 1.4 fire emmotion
Year
2009
Mileage
740000
How to check it and resolve the issue any help please sir
Simple - first do a search to identify the location of your ECM and BCM connectors. Disconnect the relevant connector and check for the presence of any moisture or corrosion. If you find moisture gently wick it away with a paper towel. If you find corrosion gently clean it taking care not to damage any pins. Once complete, apply a very light spray of de-wetting lubricant or contact cleaner to protect against future condensation.

I had that years ago,
( 20'c in my marea)

it was a Large Relay on the fuseboard

I could make the problem come and go by swapping relays

Swapped the relay, problem gone

Thank you so much for your valuable response,
Can you please share the exact relay location, I mean which fusebox and which relay...

Different vehicle..

Listen for the CLICK sound when it DOES switch the immobiliser 👍

Maybe use a hairdryer on each fuse board to see Heating which area makes a difference 😉
