General General Panda thoughts

:yeah that:

I sold my 09 dynamic with 18k on the clock for that price

I've just started using a subscription alert service for 100hp's called newsnow, it throws up lots of results from semi obscure carsites and private ads worth signing up to.

That's my favourite colour for Mk3 Pandas... -- so :nerner:

To be fair they look better in the metal but not a colour I'd choose. That pic looks like hearing aid beige (on the phone at least), so it's a particularly poor photo of a colour that photographs badly. I bet it's worth less than other colours though - which is good for anyone that likes it! (y)

Things are on hiatus... 100hp wise too.

Same here for me :( my hand is being forced to give up my 4 x 4 savings fund for the next few months :( My upcoming wedding and the need to finish my shed and start building my double garage is forcing my hand unfortunetly (n) I am trying my best to avoid this, but its not looking good.

Not sure whether to take as much as I need in the short term, or use it all to get as many materials for the shed/garage etc as I can now, going into the fund at all for however small an amount feels like failure :( especially because I want the sisley so badly (n)

I'm going for an interview in the next few weeks for a slightly higher paid job. (Same company, different store.)
If successful, I could have my 100hp and I could bang Herbie in a crummy council garage.

Because I always make things complicated theres a slight issue, as their store is in the centre of town. I would have to take the bus to work like a peasant.

So having a 100HP to use maybe twice a week, sounds fun. But I can't justify that yet.

I get exactly what you mean, if you are spending that kind of money you want to really enjoy it. Life happens this way sometimes. I personally find these types of things hard to choose between because its a logical (head) decision vs an emotionally driven (heart) decisison. e.g

1-Logical choice in my case is to purchase as much wood for the shed and garage building as I can to further that because I need the storage.

2-Heart choice is to keep saving for the 4 x 4 knowing that I will get there someday and it will be an amazing feeling when I do.

I cant even do a list of pros and cons because of the two different kinds of choices, they cant be compared on any level. And I suspect you are in a similar position with this mate :(

My quandry of the week is which car to present for the MOT?

Fizzle's is due on the 1st of May - not being used 'cos of the knocking trailing arms at the moment though a pair have been ordered from Italy, though I doubt they will be delivered as the company selling them has not contacted me despite two requests.

Cinqy's is due a week later on the 8th of May and judging by the list of advisories I doubt it will pass without some money been spent on it.

I thought Fizzle's was due in June :(, one is going to be laid up for a bit or maybe even both and back on the pushbike for a bit

Four cars and not one fit for the road :bang::bang::bang::bang:

Thats a tough break man :( would it be worth getting trailing arms from a breaking panda on the offchance they are good just to get fizzle through an MOT?

I've been told it isn't necessarily an mot issue just a general pain when driving about. I don't know if I can fit these myself anyway so certainly wouldn't want to put on a pair that would need changing later, I live in hope that the Italians will be fast and efficient delivery wise .

Strictly speaking if Fizzle passes I shouldn't be using him until his bits are sorted, yet Cinqy (who I bought to save using Fizzle) is an unknown quantity.

I may just let Fizzle rest on the drive, put him through the MOT after the arms are sorted - I'll miss the show season though and probably driving him to Panda Camp too :(

I'm getting more and more depressed looking at the blue heap of rust and misery which is the 4x4. Anyone got a spare car cover?

So is the plan to be driving the Y10 to panda camp then? :)

Dont have a spare car cover but I do have space in my driveway set aside for a 4 x 4 ;) :ROFLMAO:
