For those who don't know...

He broke down after 3 days of ownership, so he's definitely a Panda. (y)

That's not the scenery I was expecting when I think of Hull lol

I think it broke down before he got back to Hull!

I like Hull -- and I love the Humber Bridge. If you don't think it's scenic, there, see if you can find James May's duel in a swear-box-equipped Alfa, with a guy walking across the estuary in a wet suit.... Epic, as they say...! :D

Also has rather a funky seafront....

Yes but neither of those look like a road in deepest darkest Norfolkshire do they? :p

Nice pic though (y)

The Deep (as pictured) isn't a bad place to visit! Probably about the only place in Hull I do like...

The Humber Bridge is pretty cool! I've been inside the road deck...you could feel the vehicles as they drove onto the suspended part - you lose some of that sensation when you're up top
I still live on the South side of the Humber lol

6 miles from my home, so it's not far.

He broke down in Hull, interestingly the Parade has never left me stranded. Broken many many times, but never stranded. :)

It's been featured many times on TG, Jeremys Phantom review was around Spurn Point and then at the base of the bridge.

Yep, get away from Hull quicker(y)
(brought up on the south side of the Humber, at a time when 'Humberside' was run from the north:p)

Theres nothing to do south of the Humber. :p

They still haven't managed to pay off the debt for building the thing (£151,000,000 in 1981, debt now is £330,000,000) although kindly the govt' has reduced the debt by £150,000,000!

Don't you just love it when something that isn't needed and can't be paid for is built anyway?

Speaking of things that didn't need building, we have a new bridge...

The only bridge in the world which can have people on it, whilst it's moving.
Cost £6.6 million, but theres a problem. It was built when people thought redevelopment would be happening. That didn't happen due to the economy etc, so at the end of the fancy bridge is a Premier Inn and an industrial wasteland. (n)

The pictures above show you the west, heres the east.
