General General Panda thoughts

This is pretty ON topic for this section - we've even mentioned Panda's a few times! ;)

The new Panda is definitely a very impressive car. Mum's got the new 4x4 and so far definitely so good (y)

What sort of deal would you need on a new 4x4 or trekking - 14% any good?

14% of what is the question?

Are you a dealer?

Funny and good building (y) . Why didn't you drive in a real Panda?

And if we stay in LEGO:

The design is form some-one from Italy, many thx for this person.

And I've been in LEGOland Germany, some people thought I was crazy to drive 900km in a Panda. Just for them I made this picture:

Panda did 1to18 :D .

And a Panda filled with lego:

I wouldn't say ugly no, ungainly I think would be fairer (y)

Perhaps your right, it certainly lacks a bit of balance and poise, but there is something about it (like you crazy Panda folks) that is just right to me and it has loads of gadgets in an old car. Rover were almost, almost, close to being very, very good but always managed to cock it up at the end. I have no issue with rehashing cars as long as they progress. The Panda is doing this extremely well, becoming more reliable, BETTER LOOKING and inside a bit quirky in a nice way. Rover had too many other people sticking fingers in there pies. The diesels were very advanced for the time and are still economical and powerful against todays cars, the MG ZS diesel particularly is pretty quick considering. I understand the 75/ZT diesel can be fiddled with to pull like a train. Mind you even I have to admit the 1.9 JTD seems to have its fair share of kick.

Despite having the SD1 diesel, 205 diesel and a Yaris diesel, no way would I ever want a Panda oil burner, it's just wrong!

SD1 diesel was great, had a fantastic turbo whistle and it was off. Was quoted £4k to reshell it back in the '90's, wonder what it would be worth now had I kept it?

Anyway well off topic.

Panda's looks are "differently abled" as they say these days....:p

I love the smell of my wet dog more than the smell in the boot of the Rover we had when I was a young un!
The boot was a bit dark as well, didn't have a light and no door handle on the inside.
