I wasn't the buyer. Ah well, at least someone is making use of the interior even if they did pay through the nose

Did they confirm they'd actually sold or were they possibly just wrapping them ready incase?

Yup: first thing to go from the car, apparently, apart from my parcel shelf... -- which was ready and waiting for me. Must be in demand....

At least you managed to sort yourself out with the bits you required though :D

Thanks. I'm just waiting for 27 Mk1-type shelves; and 36 gearlevers to appear on eBay for less, now... (which is usually what happens...) -- although I'm actually pretty happy with the price I ended up paying.... (y)

Question for you.... Pippin's existing parcel shelf doesn't have the string or rubber doo-dads to 'automatically' lift the shelf up, when you open the rear hatch (pretty much like our Mk3...). Should it have them... -- and, if yes, which ones...? I know the strings will slot in the little round, rectangular holes, in the hatch frame: but can't see the rubber ones fitting at all. If it's 'original' not to have anything, then (i) I'm happy to leave as is; and (ii) why did they put slots in the shelf for them...?

...I also ended up with a gearstick and gaiter (and for less than it is on eBay...). Sorry, purple haze...

D day tomorrow......cellar sort out...gearstick for you and panel for mep.

I will still take this, if nobody else wants it: as I said I would. But, if you can find a better home for it, then I won't be miffed at all.... :)

No need to take it...you have one now..(y)

Thank you, kind sir...! You are a true gentleman.... :worship:

So my mum has an allotment, the roads are dusty and gravelly with 90 degree turns. The steering goes super light, it's a rally special stage.
I thought this when I went to Stanford, it was a big field with a gravel track leading into it, amazing how oddly light the steering goes. I did accidentally wheelspin and kick gravel at the poor ticket man

Just been watching an old Top Gear -- the one where Michael Schumacher is 'unveiled' as The Stig. In it, there's an extract of a Bacardi video: where he drives a Panda...! (y)

Searching for it initially produced this...! :D

The real one is here...! (Scroll to 6:30.) (y)

If we've had this posted before, I apologize. Just amused me, that's all...! :p

I was watching that yesterday too and was gonna post it on here, the full video of the Bacardi ad is on YouTube, still don't really get it though!!

So that's the second classic Panda that Top Gear has featured on the new-style show, the first being the epic limo one... or is it? Were there any more?

Clarkson once mentioned the Panda in an interview with a star in the reasonably priced (extremely disappointed the new one is a Vauxhall) car, he mentioned picking up Panda's and turning them round in their parking spaces, I seem to recall he described them as the 'little boxy ones designed by that Giugiaro bloke'

They did one where they armour plated a Panda and shot things at it. I think it was never shown for some reason.

Is it wrong of me to lust after this...?
For sale is my Fiat Panda 141 van.

As you can see in the pictures behind this has a closed box and is also registered as a truck.

It has a trailer hitch, tires and rims have been replaced with 155/65 R13 tires.

It was also made new:
- Front Damper
- Front camber plates
- Complete of Eibach springs 30mm lower
- Front brake discs and new pads

Unfortunately, this also has shortcomings:
- Rust on the underbody and the rear left wheel arch
- The water cooler lose minimal water but a new one is not expensive

For successful sale the sports steering wheel and the front of the bull catcher is removed except the price is right or can be sold separately at a reasonable asking price. I also have a Lancia Y10 stabilizer kit with new rubber as well as a brand new CECAM sport exhaust with tail pipe 60 as these can also be purchased to do so.

It's in a place called

Bad Neuenahr

That's reason enough to stay well clear.

Plus it's LHD and a shed - though I do like a van conversion I don't see the point of lowering it as well.

Finally another Y-10 died for this probably too
