I'm able to access Engine, ABS and Power Steering with my ELM but I too am unable to do the Proxy Alinement. :(

Edit
Shouldn't your Latency Timer be set to 1 and not 16 and port speed to 38400, mine is?

I got a v1.4 elm off flea bay, opened it up and took out RO4 on the board as was suggested somewhere on here. Reads all the Can, engine, service, body, although some actions need the cars security code. Haven't got the lead for the ABS as yet but will get it when I need it. FES is a brill bit of kit to use.

For PAS and ABS you need a 'patch cable' which swaps the K-line into different pins to allow comms between ECU's and software (i think fiat did it to stop people easily messing with vital safety systems such as steering, brakes and SRS) all info on the patch cables is HERE

the patch cables you can buy at Gendan not a bad price either i can only find the OBD connectors and terminals for upwards of £5 EACH and id need 4 + wires + making them and they would look no where near as nice as those

No patch cable needed, read the FiatECUScan How To Guide.

NOTE: You have to solder a short wire between pins 1-7-9 of your interface's OBD connector in order to connect to ABS and Power steering ECUs. Also, you need to have a connection on pin 3 of the OBD connector in order to connect to airbags.

Edit
Personally I'd leave Pin 3 alone. Messing with airbags should be left to the professionals.

no offence shadeyman... im SRS trained for the next year then i need to get it renewed lol apparently i am a professional.

having issues with my eBay special ELM lead... it can read engine ECU fine no probs can get into abs, power steering and brakes but it comes up with ' ELM327->ECU Connection failed' when trying to reset service light, looking at dash or body comp...

No offence richy, professionally trained you may be but you said, I quote:

No patch cable is needed for PAS and ABS as I stated earlier.

Your post never mentioned:

ELM327->ECU Connection failed' when trying to reset service light

Try here for a solution:

EDIT
Removing the R04 resistor worked for me.

This interface is compatible with ELM 327 1.4! Should connect properly with all CAN modules.

just about to email the ebay supplier about getting a wiring diagram for the PCB inside the module as i cant figure out from the FES forum thread about modding the resistors.

Take a photo of both sides of the board, I'm sure someone here will be able to help. You never know, you may have the same board as me, problem solved. (y)

Thanks Downloading it now. (y)

I know this software allows you to "Clear Errors" which are reported / stored... does this allow you to clear the "Service Due"?
The garage I use cannot clear the message, and it's being quoted £60 from the Main Dealer to clear it on their behalf... tut tut
