General Fiat Punto 1.2

Hi,

I've seen a Punto 1.2 2 door. But what optipns and eqipmenmt does it have???????? Please help me!

You need to tell more, what year, what spec etc.

Mark 1 I believe has S, SX etc. and a number, like 55, 75 etc. which tells you what engine it is (8v/16v etc.)

Mark 2/3 has more complicated like "active/elx etc."

it's mark 2. 2000. It dosen't say what equipment it has got.

well this will be a bit hard as there are so many variations on equipment levels for the 1.2 punto it could be 8valve or 16 valve. there are 3 different stereos it could have. could have elec windows. if its a sporting it wil have 6 gears instead of 5 and so on.

i had alook on that website but wich one is it ??? there is a 1.2 elx on there a 1.2 sporting?? a 1.2 5 door ?

It might well be a base Punto, which has no designation. 2000 was before they went with Active Dynamic and Eleganza. So it ought to have electric windows, city power steering, see through headrests, no rev counter or temp guage, basic radio/cassette, no sub (perhaps no rear speakers). Not sure on split rear seat. Black plastic bumpers, 1242cc 8v 60bhp engine. A basic car really, but one that should be reliable if well maintained.

Mines the base model it doesnt even have rear speakers till I put 6x9's in just aint wired them up yet [V]. I think with my colour black bumbers suit it better than color coded ones . And there smashing reliable cars when maintained properly but it isnt worth doing a Dealer service. just go to a independant local garage will cost about £85 instead of £290+ or if your feeling adventurous get a haynes manual and do it yourself nothing more satisfying then you can use an OIL of your choice as long as its 5w/30 to 10w/40.

The equipment level is gonna depend on if its just a 1.2 punto or whether its a 1.2 Mia, if its a Mia then chances are it'll be very basic, no electric windows, no central locking, 4 speaker casette system and good old black bumpers, which look alright if you keep them clean and dont let them fade or go wishy washy. Anything above a Mia should at least have electric windows and central locking.
