Hello all,

I have a fiat punto 1.2 16V petrol engine in my garage and, I want to start it on my engine stand. What is the minimum engine configuration that I need to start it? Starter motor, battery, fuel pump, sensors, etc. I want to order all the components at once, and I need a full list. And how to wire an ECU. A long time ago, I started a carburated engine, but now I am confused about how to do it with the ECU engine.
Thanks in advance. :)

What engine Series and what ecu, I have some pin outs for the older ones to around 1999, mostly single point injection?

Thank you so much, judderbar. You really helped me. :)
I have a 16V engine with that ECU. As far as i know, as far as sensors go, the car is only going to need the crank sensor to start. I have no idea if you will also need the matching body computer but they are easy to find.. The camshaft sensor is only there to help it start a few revolutions quicker or report errors but it will run without it. The car starts cold in a default rich position position without oxygen sensor data so presumably you dont need the MAF sensor either. A missing temperature sensor just causes the fan to run continuously at ignition on.
