Technical Fault code !

Just wondered if any one has encountered fault code po805 - clutch position sensor

Came on few weeks ago cleared and didn't come back on for couple weeks n now comes on now and again, doesn't affect starting or drive etc

Is this likely to be the neutral clutch position switch or the switch on clutch pedal?

Or could this be anything else forst time ive encountered this fault before

I suspect it is the sensor above the clutch pedal.
When you connect to a diagnostic tool it can show if pedal up or down, much the same as with the brake pedal and in that case they often have three wires.
So may be a case of positioning yourself under the dash looking up at the pedal assembly with a torch, great for back problems

Ah thought it probably was seems to of mainly been with the snow and cold weather this week, shall order one anyway as cheap enough cheers

Always good to test before throwing money if possible though.
