I constantly amazed by the things people who aren't into cars come out with.

For what it's worth the new Micra is a Suzuki made in India so I wouldn't be too optimistic about the build quality ... also more than a bit dull.

I wouldn't take any notice of a review done by a bloke who calls the rear seats 'chairs'. Plus I think from the side, the new little Audi looks like a stretched 500.

You have to 'hand it' to Audi. They have tried to do some 'leading edge stuff' with their A2 with the use of Aluminum to reduce kerb weight and improve their mpg. It didn't seem to go over onto the A1 though.

Have you priced one up too? People complain that the 500 is pricey. The A1 is a dressed up Polo with 50% mark-up.

No the only thing I've priced up recently was a volare blue 500c! I can imagine the price of the Audi though. From what I recall it hasn't been reviewed very well.

A1 is priced in the 'Mini bracket'. It's a fashion statement a bit like a 500. A speced up 500 would be around the same price as an entry level A1. Their e1-tron model looks promising.

Maxi do you still have that "Audi cars" front profile picture - the one where they all look the same ? worth posting that again for a laugh. A2 doesn't fit the mould though.

What about the audi A1 is chic, desirable or trendy? Both the mini and the 500 have a history (whether you buy into it or not) but I dont see how the Audi links into that. The Citroen DS3 maybe, but not the A1.
