Hello, Newbie here. just bought an 11 plate 500 Lounge. When ignition first turned on the dash clocks work fine then about 30 seconds later they just go off and wont come back on until I remove the key and then re-turn on the ignition, then they go out again. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

Strangely enough I have a 2010 Doblo 1.6 that has just started doing something similar with the onscreen display of mileage etc.
I checked for error messages, but nothing has shown up.
Everything else works fine and most times the screen works.
So it may be the start of an LCD screen failure on mine as I already have a similar age one with higher mileage (180K according to ECU read)that is permanently blank on mileage screen.

Just another thought, checked the wiring in the tailgate strut and its pretty mangled to say the least. Might this affect it?
Yes. Do a search on tailgate wiring in the 500Forum.

Hiya. Thanks for the response. So I have purchased a replacement loom for the tailgate, but have noticed that there are a few grey coloured wires that are all the same. Can anyone help here or does it not matter which grey goes to which?? Thanks in advance

damn! have sorted the rear wiring loom, but the clocks still come on briefly and then go off! Any ideas anyone? or this a new set of clocks, which i am reading will need to be programmed to the car? thanks in advance
