Technical Clutch Noise and won’t work

Hello, recently changed the slave cylinder on clutch. I’ve attached a video of the noise I’m hearing. It drove fine for the next 6 weeks but now it won’t work.

When engine is off, I can press clutch and go into all gears.

When engine is on, I hear a noise when I press the clutch and I can’t engage any gears.

If I turn engine off, clutch down, engage a gear then turn engine on (with foot on brake) I can then operate the car but I’m stuck in that gear.

Does anyone have any ideas what’s causing this issue and how to fix it please?

Come on... It's a clutch failure, obviously(?).

Your "tests" are irrelevant (normally, you can switch gears without using the clutch when engine is OFF).

Clutch swap is doable at home, DIY job.

Does sound like clutch could be at the end of its life.

Unless air has somehow got back in the system, possibly master sucking air past the seals?

Is the slave cylinder fully pushing the release arm when you press the clutch pedal?

I would try bleeding it again and see if that helps.
