i cant really make out whats going on there? looks like all bits of grills

nope, still dont get it?
I think by the looks of it, he has cut a piece off another grille, cut the circular part off, stuck the grille piece between ( where the circular part was ) and dada.. he has a de badged original grille!
He chopped the middle section (containing the fiat badge) out of his own grille.
He then aquired another fiat grille and chopped a section out of that grille that has no fiat badge on.
He now has to sections of the same shape and size one with a badge and one without.
He took the original grille (the one that had the badge section chopped out) and inserted the badgeless section into the gap, then he fixed it all together with some sort of adhesive stuff.
He then sprayed it.
He then aquired another fiat grille and chopped a section out of that grille that has no fiat badge on.

i took mine off. never had a problem. my firend has had his off his golf for 2 years and never been stopped.
What about a sqaure one on the front? Reckon that would look ok?

No, take it off and put it in your windscreen. If you get pulled just say it fell off and your going to get some numberplate pads to stick it on again.

Black and silver yes thats why i dont run them. 2nd one we will see. Only a £30 fine which is the same punishment you get for running without a front plate.
