hi does anybody know if the bluetooth system in the 500 still works if you change the head unit? the usb in my car is doing my head in as won't constantly work with iPhone! keeps restarting my phone after about 20 mins of playing music! also have used a memory stick but its a pain having to convert my whole iTunes library to mp3 format!!!

On the other questions I remember you posted before but the best solution would be to use the USB memory stick and go through the 'conversion' as explained by arorat since I remember you had a Mac.

I know its a pain having to convert lots of files but its easy if know how to batch process them. Plus once its done you dont have to do it again. Then just pick up a large USB stick.

It'l be a lot cheaper than buying an after market head unit.

P.S. You can set itunes to import as MP3 for the future. Also as long as your music files are not protected you should be able to convert a batch to MP3 in itunes.
 
another advantage of making sure your music is in mp3 format... and bought from amzon
