Technical Blue & Me iPhone 16

My daughter has just got an iPhone 16. She has managed to pair it up with Blue & Me, but it won't play her music.
Any ideas or suggestions on how to solve this?

Short answer; it can't be done. Easiest work around is to copy the files to the root directory of a flash drive (32gB max) and plug it into the USB socket. It does mean using the fiddly steering wheel controls though. I understand Apple phones don't have a 3.5mm AUX socket. Ultimate cure is to swap out the head unit and fit a new model Pioneer/Alpine/Sony etc.

You can get a Bluetooth dongle that goes into the back of the original stereo and also get the adapter to keep blue & me going (there is a YouTube video somewhere)
Installed mine some 18 months ago, I also now have the 16 and works a dream! Can play Spotify to my hearts content

Blue and me never supported music streaming via Bluetooth you always had to use a cable

The black bit with blue is the Bluetooth, to use the blue and me voice command you’d need the multi plug adapter too. (Partner figured it out but in short you pull the blue bit off the multi and put the blue bit from the blue tooth and plug in that way)
