Styling Abarth Badges

Not a fan of the badges Paul reccomends tbh. The ones that the OP has on his car though, they look very nice :)

...and there was me sitting in my flame suit awaiting your comments! :p

Thank you for being so complimentary :)

I actually like the badges that Paul linked to [cheers Paul - I already had the page in my bookmarks from a previous post of yours] but I wanted to go for something a little more subtle.

I'm probably biased, but I think that the tailgate badge looks quite OE?

Credit where credit is due ;) They do look nice and they're not OTT. Some people with Fiat Panda 500 Abarth Ka's seem to like to slather scorpions and Abarth branding all over them which just looks naff and then there are people with Fiat Panda 500 Ka's which aren't Abarths that get slathered with scorpions. This also doesn't look good. Yours are understated and not OTT and that's cool. The front and rear badges would IMHO be a badge too far.

Wasn't that a WW2-based movie? :)

I agree absolutely. For me, I think of blue and silver for a Fiat badge, so I am happy to retain the OE bonnet and hatchback badges.

Thank you for being so friendly - I was about to throw my toys out of the pram, abuse you and leave this forum in a huff ;)

Just wait until I have my 3' high scorpion vinyl on the side...

Subtle is always good, as Maxi pointed out some people get a bit OTT with them... I just have the standard 11 that come with the car

Forgot our proper Panda has one as well :)

I'm a tad guilty of the "OTT" look with Scorpions, and stripes a plenty (click my signature link below!) but the Abarth 500 is pretty wild anyway (as am I) so i can get away with it! :p On saying that, i still prefer Abarth logos on Abarth cars.

Saw a Ford Ka the other day with a shiney "V6" badge on the back (n)

I must admit to having googled arbarth to see what the fuss was about.
I'm a noob to the panda world having just laid down a deposit for a 1.2 eco but I assume the range looks the same & the differences being under the bonnet?
Now I cant help wondering why anyone would want the world to think their car is actually better than it is?
Isn't this dangling a carrot for the car thieves? I suppose those really in the know would have an idea yours is a basic model badged to look like a sporty version but what about your opportunist thief walking along the street?
Each to their own and all that.

Well you have the immobiliser keys, so a thief would need the keys to drive it away. I don't think many car thieves would be interested in a panda no matter what model it is really. Badges, do not a 'sporty version' make. The 100hp looks quite obviously different from the other models in the range.

Maybe so, but what if the thief is bored and fancies a car which pretty much rides on its bump stops? :p
