Technical 3 codes that i cant clear with diagnostic scanner

So just measure it and try turn it upside down???
And did any water come out when drained?

Ive put everything back together i'm getting no reading off the water sensor unless i'm doing it wrong, i use read lead off multi meter onto single prong and earth on the filter container

This prong has no earth its a single lead going to it, reading the plug it gives 1.246 ohm with ignition off

I also took of the PAT fluid reservoir which has plenty in, those 3 codes wont erase and the filter symbol is still on the dash

The sensor is on the right

Test the light by grounding the sensor wire
With the sensor disconnected, the warning light should be off. Ground the wire, it should illuminate the light.
That's if the sensor is a simple ground the current if water detected. With only the one wire, it is not sending a resistance reading back to the ECU, so probably just grounds as current passes through water and perhaps not fuel.
If that is the way it works, with it disconnected, the warnign lamp should stay off. If it illuminates, that indicates a short in the wiring before the sensor, or it may illuminate for other reasons.

Are you sure that's the right sensor? because google shows nothing like that on a search

Yes its correct, ive just used another fuel filter lid off my mechanic friend and its give same reading and not turning off the stop sign!! Van still disabled and these codes wont clear

Why are we spending so much time on this water sensor? The original codes on your diagnostic reader are nothing to do with water in the filter.
You stated that a dash warning said water in filter. Is this an actual message, or your interpretation of the warning light and possible reasons given in the handbook?
If the fault is with the PAT system, you could spend the rest of your life faffing with the filter, and not fix it.

It says on the dash “water in fuel filter”

It also came up as a code, but i managed clear it, now it says “fault eng man system” van has stop sign on and wont run also in eco mode

I dropped PAT tank to see Howmuch is left, there is loads.. i feel like tipping it off a cliff

I unplugged the water sensor on the fuel filter and it still reads on the dash water in fuel filter

Sometimes in life you have to know when to cut your loss's as they say and move on.
Check your insurance policy over and make sure you are covered for theft. Go out to were the travelers are camped and leave the keys in it.
File a police report for your insurance.

I think leaveing the keys in it invalidates your insurance.

The alternative is to find someone that's knows what they are doing and ask them to fix it.
