Technical Short circuit to ground

The other alternative is taking the vehicle to a specialist, some are very good and a couple of hours of their time would be well worth the money, however experience shows that some will just guess at your expense whilst putting loads of parts on the vehicle.
The above is not an option they will take the ****

Thanks, on with the debugging tomorrow

Ok, i have recently heard this noise that wasn't there before this incident so have to dismiss it if its not the problem but doesnt sound good.

Its the BCM, can anyone say if it could be the cause of these breakdown? video link below , is this a repairable item? should i try get inside? sounds like a relay struggling

It does sound like a relay buzzing, I have heard similar noise with no problems on vehicles, but I can't tell if as loud as yours.
If not hard to access it may be worth seeing if it is a dodgy relay and change it , but check the connection it plugs into is not bad also, in case it is a burnt connector.

The obviously unsecured thick wire with black insulation !

Seriously?

In case you are not having a joke,

In your video ... thick wire , black insulation, ring end terminal just hooked on a stud - No nut holding it tight.
Oh yea its so i could move BSM around

This is a BSM not BCM could it still be culprit?? BB8ADE17-BA7A-4C73-8B0B-5C92E936C03A.jpeg

If you do an online search for a BSI or BSM it comes up the same for a BCM although I accept to me it just looks like a fancy fusebox.
Mind you Scudo is more Peugeot than Fiat to me.:)
The BCM is behind steering wheel side panel i just dont want go down the wrong route.

Absolutely nothing, but your actions are not trying to solve it
Its electrical and like someone said above, after mechanics have spent a fortune and still not fixed its not an issue, i have been talking to someone who is a mechanic and a friend he said in my defence it could take days

Last question stands, can that posh fuse box (BSM) be at fault because that noise is not something i heard before and this is a sealed unit

You are kind of missing the point(s):
No reponse to basic questions that narrow down the fault, (disconnecting, grounding etc for sensor cables).
Slackening lots of wires to access something then wondering why it sounds like a bad connection (akin to slackening all the wires in your fuse box at home to access something and wondering why all the lights are flickering....).

Actually, based on the previous posts, DON'T slacken the wires on your house fuse box.

If it is sealed, is there any way to take a look inside, even if to confirm no obvious water or corrosion or signs of burning that may be causing some of your problems. If suspicious of it I would be tempted:)
