Technical 2021 Auto problems? 😞

Hi Everyone

Our Rapido v55 being collected by Highbridge on Monday as under warranty (used van purchased August 2024). They’ve booked it into Fiat Professional

It’s developed a ‘check engine’ light as per attached photo. The live fault relates to a fan but there’s stored codes relating to gearbox possibly. Engine slightly restricted and drive modes (power,eco,normal) not selectable.

Codes are: Р0482-13 (active) U197C-83 (stored) U19B3-83 (stored) U193D-83 (stored). Local garage failed to sort, they suspected expensive gearbox module.

Any knowledge or experience appreciated

Hi, yes it’s 2.3 9 speed auto not comfortmatic

The error code Р0482-13 is not present on the 2014-2018 model.

The fan codes are Р0481-xx.

The one wich ends with 13 is this one:

There was no automatic transmission in the previous models and FIAT has not released a more recent error codes database.

However in theory a faulty fan could cause limp mode to prevent damage.

Found the remaining codes together on the internet and they have nothing to do with the gearbox.

Someone was trying to mess with the EGR hahahah, why buying a diesel and then trying to trick the system?

These could very likely be the cause of the limp mode and I assume limp mode is making the drive modes unavailable.
