Introduction

Hi all,

Got told to up load my pics to here,

So here we go.

Got this last weekend as a fuel saver run about car.

Bought it because my first car was a Fiat Uno 60s, I wanted another but none were available then I saw this!

Paint code for those that may want to know...

They look very retro I like them! I guess you'd have to check the width on the vehicle whether the offset will work without catching, some wider wheels tend to have more width added on the back rather than spread equally :)

Yeah it shouldn't catch on the inner. It's going to stick out more than anything. Might have to roll the guard which is easily done. My panda isn't lowered yet so shouldn't foul haha will post my calculations.

So using my favourite wheel tool. Results are : Stick our 54mm and get 28mm more inner clearance.

Also have a mock up of what they will be like on...

I also have a mock up with what color I want to paint it. ( I know it's a mk1 panda) But I love the two tone.

Thats all for now. Will have to actually try the wheels when my car gets back.

Great looking wheels! But with 0 offset you're going to have to do some work to make them fit. The rears may be ok once the arches are rolled, it's the fronts that will stick out the most.

Good luck with it though, I think they suit the colour really well.

Thanks! Yeah, I know they will require a little work. Will probably just put my 155's on them so I have no real tyre issues. Shouldn't be too much stretch! :)

Hi All,

I'm wanting to quickly get some help.

I bought an electronic module for the panda as my second hand one has died already.

The Seller emailed me back.

"Dear clown_dog,

Hi

There is 2 types, please see the link below and pick the correct one.

Thanks

Which one is it?

There are heaps of options on the page.. Is my engine model 156? it's a 1000s panda 2wd.

I know it's not the black plasticy looking one. But are there differences between the metal heatsink looking ones?

:)

Thanks!!

Only one type of heatsink looking ones that I know of.

Cool some new things to post.

But first does anyone know where to get Fiat Panda overfenders or arches or fender flares? (listing all the terms so this is searchable)

I love these ones.

I'd go for some of those too, they're on a mk1 (or marbella) there so may not fit the mk2 rear arches though.

That colour of panda is fantastic - does anyone know what the paint code is for it?

Hi clowndog, Do you need the arches to cover the wheels or is it just a cosmetic thing?

If you need to cover the wheels because they stick out too far you will have to modify the metal arch first or the wheels will foul on them, especially at the back. It's not an issue for the car in the pic as it's a 4x4 and the suspension travel doesn't allow the wheels to come close enough to the arch to cause problems, but it will be an issue for your 2wd Panda.

If the wheels are fine and you just want the look then these are available....

I'm not sure if the ones in your pic are available, although they are for the Mk1 I'd certainly have a good go at fitting them to a Mk2 if some could be found. ;)

Yes I think I will need to cover the widths of the tyres.

I like your arches but the only concern I have is my Fiat does't have the door plastic mould strips. So I'd be missing those too. Which they look like they contribute to the arch shape.

I haven't bought lowering springs yet but will get some 40mm Pi Springs. So just trying to work it all out. :)

To give you an idea where I'm at.

Rare

I haven't had a chance to try the wheel on with a tyre yet.

Yes I realised you didn't have side trims after I'd posted.

There are trims available for Pandas without side trims but they are rare and won't cover your wheels, doing that is going to require some serious metal bashing.
