General Help: Getting the Airbag Off

Hello everyone,

I have recently acquired an Abarth airbag to fit my standard 500 1.4 100hp. Thing is, since there are no screws behind the steering wheel, my mechanic and I are out of ideas as to how to take the darn thing out..

I have done a search and am still out of ideas.. Could anyone point me in the right direction?

If I am able to tackle this I'd probably take pics and hopefully make it into a guide.. I'm sure many will be frustrated by the same a few years down the line >_<

Go to 3:20 on this video and it will show you what to do.

The Abarth airbag will give you an extra 20bhp and an extra 30mph top speed

Got it. Thanks a lot mate.

My car is a wannabe Abarth so I decided if I were to pretend to be an Abarth I might as well make an effort at it..

Hoping to give them Abarths a hard time after the cams and a thinner head gasket though!!

To post pictures (hopefully I'm correct on this)...

Create a thread in Member's motors in the 500 section with a few pictures. This allows members to post comments.

Almost right. All members have their own gallery bit space is limited, unless you have donated them it becomes unlimited.
