Troubleshooting


You've connected up the amp correctly. Plug in your Headunit and see if it works. If it doesnt, there could be a few possible causes. Firstly check the obvious things like you've got the positive wire connected to the positive terminal on the battery and the fuse is in and ok. If thats ok it could be...

Either the remote wire isnt turning on the amp, in which case trace back the amp remote wire and check to see the wire is connected in the right place on the amp, the crimp connector is connected properly and the other wire is connected to the right wire on the headunit.

Alternatively, if the remote wire is fine, and still no power, check the grounding of the amp. You have to make sure the paint is scratched, and
the grounding terminal is connected securely to the bodywork.

If your amp is on, but you're not getting anything out, its most likely your headunit isnt feeding a signal through your RCA leads. In which case make sure you've connected them to the right plugs on the amp and headunit, and that you have the headunit configured to play through the RCA outputs (should be setup as default, but worth checking).
