They are nice, but before you decide get someone who can photoshop them onto your car to check. Obrooks is pretty good. :)

i did it the old way and went and held a pic up to the side of the car. i think they will suit nicely. ill give the photoshop a go myself if i get a chance.

on the sizes available in 4 stud it turns out they were only released about a month ago so there is very little info available even off of oz themselves.

sadly it doesnt appear i can get the 10 spoke for a gp.

as oz now have a list as to which ones will fit a gp which are these:

http://www.ozracing.com/at-team/wheels/choose-a-wheel/FIAT/GRANDE_PUNTO-10.2005/-15-16-17/en

and in 18s (deff too big for me) :http://www.ozracing.com/at-team/wheels/choose-a-wheel/FIAT/GRANDE_PUNTO-10.2005/-18/en

16s and 17s ie ideal size: http://www.ozracing.com/at-team/wheels/choose-a-wheel/FIAT/GRANDE_PUNTO-10.2005/-16-17/en

so looks like will have to be the 8 spoke.

although there are a few results for 4 stud on google although oz dont have them on their website:confused:

on doing more research it turns out oz used to do the 10 spoke under a different name (although i dont know what it is) now you can only get the 8spoke in 4stud and 10 spoke in 5 stud.

so if i can find out what the 10 spoke used to be called i will get them as they will likely be cheaper due to being an old model otherwise it will be the 8 spoke or an alternative.

unless anyone else knows what the ten spoke used to be called.

Rolf your going about it all the wrong way.
Your looking for something a bit different and I assume sinister looking?

Save yourself a bit of cash and go oldskool with a set of TSW Venoms. Now with the money you have saved get them a proper repaint with a deep shimmering purple rim. gloss black spokes with your purple center caps.

Just close your eyes and imagine it. At night your driving past a shop window and you see the reflection of the sleek black gp with 2 purple rings where wheels should be.
You know it makes sense be different. You know how much you hate to be a sheep, just buying whatever alloys are in fashion.

That sounds like a brilliant idea, Its so tempting to buy new things for the car, although im trying to only buy things that could be transferred to a new car.

ill have a look into that.

i dont really like tsw venoms but i am still thinking of the clour scheme as you have suggested.

aye thats true.

the thing is i obviously want to do something different but something i know/think will work.

plus my parents who dont usually like alloys actually like the 10 spoke oz's so that means im on a winner and as my ma hasnt signed over ownership to me yet it would be a good idea to stay in her good books.

plus after looking around a bit most of the multispokes i had looked at are too fussy i dont think 5 spokes look right and have found either 8 or 10 spokes look best in my opinion.

does anyone know of any 16" 10 spoke alloys like the oz michelangelo 10 that they think will suit the gp.

or is there a safe way to make a 5stud fitment fit a four stud?

i found a company who claim to do 4stud oz michelangelo 10's and will contact them to see if this is correct.

edit: i have just contacted that company to see if they are indeed available in 4 stud.

Loads of spokes will mean you can't really use a purple rim as they will break it up in loads of places and make it look disjointed.

Rolf don't be a clone.

Just picture it in your head, these wheels

With a paint job like this

But with the rims this colour.

You can pick up a set of Venoms 17" in a Vauxhall fitment for under £100 easy. Kerbs scratches and dodgey tyres don't matter. As you will be getting them refurbed and save enough money to buy the best tyres and still save. Would also give you I'm pretty sure the first GP in the UK certainly probably the world sporting Venoms, custom Venoms. Custom stuff for a car instead of off the shelf is always way cooler.

But if you want to be a conformed clone following the herd. That is entirely your choice. Well sorto your choice. Don't suppose you can argue you choose anything if your copying others. Ooh that's quite a deep philosophical point tagged on to the end there.

Can you choose to follow the herd or do you just do it as instinct. :chin:

i understand exactly what your saying.

the only reason i picked these:
P1000463copy.jpg

as a lot of people already have kei's and i like the 10 spoke which is why i picked the oz's(see photoshop courtesy of obrooks)

i will have the purple rim and black spokes.

but want some wheels i think will look good standard (hence my choice)

especially as then my parents will approve and after the gp is signed over to me il have them done black and purple.

im not disagreeing with you you have given me some very good ideas.

however sadly i dont like the venoms i think they look tacky.

on the heard front i have taken other members ideas and inspiration and said that looks good now i will do it this way hence the likelyhood of a purple rim like this :
a914.jpg

ie a purple chrome rim and high gloss black spokes.
