Ah cool then yeah the 10 spoke are better looking (y) Have you ditched the idea of black wheels Carl? Personally I don’t think black wheels will look good on a black car.

na i havent ditched the idea fully yet ie may get those sprayed gloss black when they inevitably need refurbing.

next question is which finish do people prefer.

matt black and diamond cut:

or

titanium crystal:

I prefer titanium crystal.

I have faith, you will do fine with your wheels. Stick with your steel wheels for the first few weeks of driving then once your properly used to that car get the alloys on.

I think parallel parking is probably where you risk damaging the alloys the most. So when your doing that manoeuvre take it easy and don’t take any risks.

I always angle my passenger mirror down while parallel parking so i can see how close the rear wheel is to the kirb.

hillariously according to my driving instructor i have been doing perfect parralel parking since september. and as far as im aware i havent kerbed any wheels since i first started driving when i was 8.

i agree about waiting before i put the alloys on though.

well thanks for all the replies advice and opinions people and im going to go with the michelangelo 10's in titanium crystal as suggested now all i need to do is either get a job or keep saving:eek:

but as soon as i get them you will be the first to know.

one final question is which size as i was looking into 17" but there is no information available about there weight so was wondering whether it would perhaps be safer to go with 16".

so which size do you think.

thanks(y)

I dont think they come in 4 stud smaller than 17's.

I think 5 stud only for 15/16.

Are we talking about the 8 spokes or the 10 spokes.

I think the 10 spokes are only available in 4 stud in 17/18"

And the 8 spokes in all sizes.
