Technical Where does this plug into

Hi all

Found this plug in the front drivers side of the engine bay tucked in very close to the cam belt (top by cam shaft)


Also when idling what should the temp be as mine today went to near 100 degrees

and when it was this hot i put the heater on and it wasnt hot I waited for a bit and it went warm then cold again???

Any clues

What colours are the wires?

For the other, I think you need to top up and/or bleed. Water leak?

Fan should come on by 95C.

Top up and bleed coolant, check for leaks before the inevitable happens.

It is for when you have Eletrical adjuster headlights ,

Hi

Do all the above but also check the fan will spin freely by hand then that if you give it 12v with two wires will spin up like a tornado, then remove the conector from the radiator temperature sensor and short the connectors with a paper clip., it should spin up again, any fails you need to sort before driving...

In traffic the fan should be off and on like your tail lights.

Other wise you will need to change the head gasket for sure...
