I know they tried electric busses in Edinburgh a wee while ago but they were not very successful because, due to the many hills, their batteries ran down too quickly. Not sure if they've tried again since then.I wouldn’t say there are obvious north south divides but we’ve just had a brand new fleet of electric buses paid for by the government around here, the old ones are not that old so probably got sold and sent off else where, they paid out about £1Bn for new trains a few years back and the old ones were sold off else where in the country also. It’s pretty obvious the divide is real and all the crap makes its way up north once we are done with it down here.
In london the average speed of those buses over their lifetime is probably only 2-3 mph they’re probably not as you say geared for your neck of the woods
Corporate policy not to deal with canny Scots! They seem to have extensive coverage in England and Wales but are conspicuously absent up here. Wonder why?
The diplomatic use of the word canny is appreciated!Corporate policy not to deal with canny Scots!
We’ve had some trials of other fuelled vehicles over the years we had some busses that ran on gas a while back.I know they tried electric busses in Edinburgh a wee while ago but they were not very successful because, due to the many hills, their batteries ran down too quickly. Not sure if they've tried again since then.

Airbox looks "4cyl petrol"This car made me smile. Its a Fiat 500L pop s.
Problem is i'm not sure which engine it has. Its listed as 1.4L petrol.
Anyone know for certain?

I believe the listing as 1.4 Petrol, so the options appear to be 8 valves (surely not in a heavy car), 16V, T-Jet and Turbo Multiair.Airbox looks "4cyl petrol"
So could well be the 1.4
I couldn't spot the dipstick handle.. So potentially a diesel
IF the licence plate is visible..I believe the listing as 1.4 Petrol, so the options appear to be 8 valves (surely not in a heavy car), 16V, T-Jet and Turbo Multiair.
Sadly no number plate visible.IF the licence plate is visible..
The VED tax bracket will help
It its a pop it’s the lowest spec so probably the 8v, definitely not a diesel and not a turbo or multiair from the looks of it, multiair says so on the engine cover.I believe the listing as 1.4 Petrol, so the options appear to be 8 valves (surely not in a heavy car), 16V, T-Jet and Turbo Multiair.
