What did you think? Or if you currently have an electric car what's different, better/worse?
A 2013 model is the only EV that I have been in..Nissan leaf. The power delivery was strong at town speeds. Never got further. The driv is not an issue for me. Jus infra structure and real world range and mostly the purchase cost
I set off today in Noop. (Panda TA). Range 37 miles. 15 yards later range 36 miles, 15 more and range is 32 miles.... Ok, when I filled up, it only took 29.7 litres so as I know, it would at a push do 60 to 75 more, but what a farce. Arriving at tesco some 6.5miles later hes got his composure back. Range 36. But if he had run out. I could push him outof harms way, just abouy, unlike an EV.Yes, few, off the line they are good, and smooth.
Range anxiety on the older type was a real issue, watching the miles remaining drop rapidly. More so for us, a weekend run might be 200-300 miles, so planning would be a consideration, though not so much more.
I'd probably have one if they were reasonably priced, but way overpriced right now.
