Noop had his 6 yr service today. Plugs looked like they were not changed last year, even though I supplied them. Air cleaners also dont get that colour in 6k of country driving. The oil filter that I removed did not look like the one I supplied either. That and the missing undertray bolt I know was there before service last year, as I had just repainted said undertray showsthe Dealer knows how to take things off if not put them back! Well they only have themselves to blame that Iwont be going back ever again. 6kmiles and that oil was clearly ready to go. Pollen filter and brkes tomorrow, and back with my summer tyres and hes ready for Mot on tuesday.

I the SAY must theTA is a doddle to service. I was worried about oil spilling from the old style filter, but not a drop. Natty way the air filter is built in to the engine accoustic cover is cool. Easier than the 1.2 by a measure. Saving all parts, because they were actually fitted and £210 worth of labour.

Now, how many mars bars will £210 buy

I finished the engine service on noop and got MES out. I informed noop he has new oil. Easy.
The service reset though, what a poor joke. Check service interval its 15000km. Changed the last service date, easy. Reset the service coupon. Why is this 2? It shoul be 4. 4 attempts to reset and finally its at 3, correct.
Check the dash computer. Next service due 230 days in 2381 miles. Wheredoes it get this crap.
Reset themiles of todays service etc.
Check dash, next service in 8000 miles 365days . Recheck all entries correct. Re instruct new oil done. Check dash computer and at kin last its reporting next service 9000 miles in 365 days. What is the point of all this rubbish.
9000 miles shoul appear if 14400km is the set interval, but it doesnt.
My son hassimilarissues with his firms fanxy tax calculator. Hehas worked out thatone box is mislabelled and one necessry figure missed off. Result he is the only one whos foem and returns werefiled on time. Just put the wrongfiguresin the available boxes, change a couple to account for themissing box, and as if by magic the correct income is declared at the end.....
BUT REMEMBER, computers are always right!😂

Show that at immigration passport control and seehow far up their noses turn. Its prehistoric. You must be.......

a DINOSAUR!!
Yep somedays I do feel pretty ancient, especially when trying to do things on my iPhone. The last time I had to get our 9 year old grandson to sort it out, it took him all of two seconds and as he wandered off back to his computer game I heard him mutter "are all old people so stupid"! One thing about the ID card, it's got absolutely no photographs, fingerprints or other identifying marks on it, just my name and date of birth. We obviously lived in a more trusting age back in 1948.

I don't even use a mobile phone.:)

They are trying to.:(
Sadly unless you say you have an emergency heart alarm linked to a cardiac emergency team on 24 hour stand by they will knick your landline, and what a PIA it is too!!

According to family history , I am more likely to die a slow lingering death of cancer than quickly of heart issues.:(
Better buy a mobile phone them, and get one with a good long battery life. LOL
