As for Iron Maiden, argghhhh still jealous. Only thing stopping me going is I don't like strobe lights and live heavy metal does! Lol My cousin sees them every time they're in Dublin, he rubs it in too!!!

Recently I watched a documentary about Don Maclean, mainly about his iconic American Pie. Brought me right back to 1971, heady days indeed. A clever song writer & for many reasons the song conjures up many happy memories in more ways that will stay with me forever. All music means something to someone & at that time I was heavily into real heavy metal the likes of Deep Purple & more, but American Pie holds a very special place in my heart.
