Does some one has any idea when gearbox oil need to be replaced, or is it lifetime oil. ??

Lifetime just with a level check every so often I think about 52k miles
That being said it still change it every 5 years or so if your keeping the car

About £20 I guess.
I bought 2 litres of this... (used 1.65 litres)

I had the hex bits in my toolbox and also had this pump which made light work of the refill...

Reason I did this was that I'd had a weepy inner drive shaft seal replaced
in the Autumn and it niggled me to check the oil level.
Decided that whilst I was doing that, I'd may as well replace the original oil.
Turned out there was a loss of about 10%

To be honest, it didn't look too bad. Bit of sediment when it had settled in
the bowl but decent colour and viscosity compared to the new..
The oil that came out of my old Seicento gearbox some years back was grim. Grey colour and very smelly..

This sealed for life nonsense beggars belief. Gear box oil needs changing. My view based on experience of the feel of boxes I have had over the years is that 40K is a sensible time to change gearbox oil. The problem is that you cannot buy the same standard of oi. used at manufacture so most replacement oils are in reality inferior and deteriorate much faster than the first fill.
