General Wee Gems not looking good

Started to him in ernest today and he might not be worth going on with. The door skins need replacing, the rear floor is bad and to top it all the front inner wheel arches are pretty bad and make the resto even less economical than it was and that was financial suicide to start with..

I'll make a decission once I take to the arches with the grinder

That would be a bit of a shame after the effort you and Alan had getting him from Newcastle to your place...

Would be sad to see one of the oldest panda's left not getting your treatment Stu, but the head has to be as satisfied as the heart.

Thanks for the support everyone. It's worse then I thought though (photos over on my site) and is a lot of work but I'm going to see what I can do. I hate admiting defeat. I just hope there isn't to much more lurking under the stonechip underneath.

Stu if it's any consellation the Italia 90 has just gone to my mates to look at the bodywork etc it's whole side was pushed in by the last owner More than once

But it will be ready for the 2009 trip to the arctic

seller also has a complete side panel for a mk 2 and it looks as though a mk1 side is lurking behind it in the picture!
