Eh up all

As a tight Yorkshireman I’m upset 😢

I’m thinking my 2016 TA Cross needs a new battery- only 16k miles but lots of short runs and mrs uses air con heated seats windscreen the bo88dy lot ! It’s starting to be a slow crank despite putting it on the charger - just think it’s had it’s day as alternator is fine pushing out plenty of current’ oil and services up to date so nothing obvious

Anyone recommend a new battery - usually opt for Exide/Bosch / Varta as options

All advice welcome as long as it’s free 😃

Yuasa make very good batteries.

Tayna batteries on line are good supplier of all sorts of brands.

ECP is one of the most expensive places to buy a battery - and many other tings too, as it happens.

As mentioned by another reply, Tanya online are very good: very quick, great service and very good prices. (However, there was a comment here from someone who had a less good experience -- i suppose no one can be perfect every time) I believe this link has the correct spec (but do check!) https://www.tayna.co.uk/car-batteries/types/027-efb/

Good to hear from you - think we’ve been conversing since 2008 when I had the mk2 4x4!

I know ECP are ok for some parts but others 🤔

Will look at Tanya - alomost sure I used them in the past maybe on the mk1 4x4

Cheers again
