most RR operators are used to very low cars & can cater for them, your only problem is if the RR is the type with roller pits rather than platforms.
If there was one worth going to, then 'lowness' would be the only problem.

It's about an hour away but what about Dastek in Dalgety Bay? I know the FS guys were there a week or 2 back for an RR day
Dastek don't have a good rep either. Fine for power runs, but actually setting something up......well there are many nasty stories.

get it live mapped if its too low for the rollers, green light sits next to red light that starts up when ignitions turned on, prob wont see it injecting on standstill tho unless you take it high up the revs.
Just about to say about the 2nd injector light
Alaina get it trailored down to the place the Lloyd clan go to.. 1320 auto's nice litttle jaunt and go to Trax at the same time![]()
you could get a wideband and do it yourself...?
It was suggested that a good wideband would cost less than a rolling road session.
Is this something that can be fitted, maybe alongside the mf2 so modom can class it as a 'mod'.
My own (utterly heretical) opinion is that the MF2 plus standard ECU setup is evil and should be replaced by almost any aftermarket ECU,
thats just the gauge though
look at Innovate wideband packages, they seem to be good value for money and quality kit.
a certain ex of mine had a wideband lambda, but for the life of me I cant remeber where he got it from or what it was. I just remember it having flashy coloured lights and a digi display with a number on.Had a night out with the boys last night, one of whom works on jap turbo cars. He also suggested a wideband.
Anyone care to tell me more.

wow, well i've just finished reading every page of this thread. its been an intense read. i was before thinking of turboing my car before but i've had a total re-think and put it off into the future! not because of the work involved because id enjoy the challenge and learning curve, it's the costs involved that i hadn't really thought about. the car "burple" looks amazing by the way.
"A 0-4 volt analogue output can be connected to a data-logger or to an ECU to provide a real time closed loop feedback for improved mapping. Supplied complete with wiring harness and includes Bosch sensor."![]()
The EML should not be coming on at all, something is not right there, might be the FCD or possibly it could be running mega rich so the lambda is triggering the fault
excellent, now i know exactly what to look for, the red lights have been doiung just that, i dont think shes been on boost yet for the green light, but id rather get the eml thing sorted before i test it out properly. The green light is quite easy to kick into action (at least on mine) but it will need to be on boost and at the boost pressure it was set up to inject at. You should see a solid red light when the ignition is on the red lights that flash are per 1000rpm so they should go up and down in knight rider mode as you rev the engine
Wide bands are fine I have one plumbed into my car but it is a two man job to try and tune the car unless you have some form of data logging, but even better it gives you another pretty gauge you can fit into the caralthough to be honest on these cars where the fuelling is so critical I would get it set up on the RR and then fit a wide band and gauge so you can keep an eye on things.
Edit forgot to add remember super unleaded only from now on preferably 99 octane so Tesco 99 or Optimax
Me, arc and kris have the innovate LC-1 wideband lambda for the megasquirt, i dont know how compatible it is with the standard ecu tho, ive not used mine yet so i dont know much about them.
