General thinking of getting a bravo

no it's not rude and I meant no offense.

when you consider spending a small fortune on a car, you should at least go check the brochure or the official website which have all the answers to the basic questions. (mpg, equipment etc..)

And there was me thinking this forum was for people to ask questions. How daft of me

100% Agree. There seems to be more and more posters on here who seem to be looking to shoot anyone and everyone down in flames for daring to ask a simple question.

Try google!! Go search for hours in a library!! Go drive a 20 mile round trip to your nearest dealer to find your answer!!!

I too thought the forum was for people to ask questions and get their answers from fellow forum members. Share knowledge and tips.

Seems not :(

Am glad im not the only one who thought so! :)

1. The T-Jet engine is the turbo charged petrol engine. I think most people with the 120 T-Jet engine are getting mid - late 30's in mpg?

2. So far I don't think anyone has had anything major go wrong with their Bravo's. A few niggly things maybe but there's been no common problems arising. They seem to be well built and very reliable.

3. The same as any warrenty on any car, It's a good thing o have and should cover you well with any problems.

4. Depends on what you want from a car.

5. I'd recommend the Bravo. Superb looking. Value for money. People always comment on it's looks.

Have you looked at the Honda civic.. got 5 doors but looks like 3.. and they do a 3 door anyways. Quietest diesel on the market the 2.2 ictdi smooth refined quicker than the Bravo and scewed together better.
Just thought id mention it:devil:

im hopefully get my 120 m-jet dynamic tomorrow and am trading in a 2.0 petrol focus which was getting 35mpg at best on motoways, and around 28-29 mpg urban which was killing me the amount of miles i was doing. you seem to be concerned with the mpg on the 150 t-jet but want one, imo i think you are kidding yourself a bit saying you could get 40mpg
kinda thinking with your heart not your head, again just my two pence worth but there's no point getting a 150bhp car if your going to drive like miss daisy to get good mpg,

Good point, but i drive my 150 MJ 'quickly' and get over 40MPG average so im more than happy.

When im tired etc i just drive like 'miss daisy' and get 46-48 MPG.
