I don't have this problem, diesel pumps don't fit in Petrol's thank fully... I have picked up the black pump a few times without thinking and wondered why it wouldn't fit :bang:

I normally only fill up at the local sainsburys, when i'm not traveling far, and they did a upgrade of the forecourt and swapped the diesel pumps with the petrol ones so they were in a different order..

Wonder how many people that caught out :ROFLMAO:

Takes some effort and luck though doesnt it  Ive done it a couple of times, picking up the diesel pump and when it hasnt fitted noticed it was the wrong pump.

Have seen the BP use Blue for Ultimate Diesel and Petrol... smart move..

I normally go to Sainsbury's like I said, and if i go for the Orange Pump know it will work (y) (Sainsbury's High Octane :slayer:)

It'll be slow! Clutch / brakes, rust underneath. Make sure everything electrical works - all the standard stuff! The earlier MK1's suffered from a dodgy pollen filter seal and water pools in the foot well.

Roads are generally dug deeper to accomodate the larger loadings placed on them.

So its easier to put them under there during construction, and often the services are quite large/wide/deep, so would in most situations be bigger than the pavement and still go under the road (y)

Finally my degree has come in handy :ROFLMAO:
