That's what I've been provided by AndyH. week or so ago.

Hi J.

This is how I see it going at the moment, it may change a bit but probably not much now:

Start 11a.m. from Lakeland Motor Museum, Backbarrow
Silecroft, Whicham (sea)
Muncaster
Hardknott and Wrynose passes
Elterwater
Little Langdale
Ambleside
Kirkstone
Patterdale
Penrith
Alston Moor
Hexham End of day 1

- There are options in there depending on how time goes during the day. I want to do more lanes but think some people will be tired because all the roads need high concentration to drive, plus early starts for people. We will see, but you know what its like..

Start day 2 - 10is?
Whitley Chapel
Rawgreen
Slayley Forest
Blanchland
Chester-Le-Street
Beamish
Seaham - 2 o'clock ish finish

Having done a load of research, I've got more lanes lined up in The Lakes to do us another day in the future. I'll let you know when.

andyholli what is the definative plan for this? If you write a summary I can edit the original post so people (like me) dont have to claw through several pages to work out whats going on!

Thank you kolza for posting the details. They're not going to change now I don't think.

The key point is the start - 11 a.m. Saturday 16th April. at the Lakeland Motor Museum, Backbarrow. -After that, it's 'follow the car in front'.

Should be at our finish point, Seaham on the East coast early afternoon on 17th for people to head home again.

Dinner at The Station Inn in Hexham is booked for us on Saturday evening.

I have also taken the liberty of booking more snow*:

- *Although it may not fall in the UK.

Looking forward to seeing as many vehicles and people as possible, accelerating their rust, between the Irish and North Seas.(y)

Cool, I've updated the first post with the info (y)

Still not 100% sure if we're coming yet. Depends if the new tyres arrive!

Thought I'd found us a ford to play in-

"Legitimate" is an interesting word with a broad range of interpretations available..

Is driving Pandas backwards and forwards through it to take photographs of splashing 'legitimate'?
Or how about 'because it makes me laugh', is that a legitimate reason?
What about 'because it's there!' - 'Legitimate'?

Bless the Civil Service.

Looks like Stanhope Ford, doubt you will get across there, it takes the Rally guys quite a lot of Arm twisting to be allowed to use it now.

Good luck with the trip, all sounds like a lot of fun. :)

I'll change the bulbs, the switch lost its clickiness so deffo gone bad, still waiting for the latvians to send me the new pair I ordered though.
I reckon on side lights I can do most of the coast to coast, getting back to the b&b might be tricky though!

None of the extra lights on Henry actually worked properly so I dewired it all when I had the dash out, just need an electrically minded person to sort it out with some nice push switches on the dash. Metal toggle switches are horrid, don't like the look or touch of them. :yuck:
