Taking the swing arms out to put in new bearing due to horrible screeching (Hope that's what it is - it is Speed dependent)
The PO installed the inner a-arm bolts the wrong way around, so when I try and extract them they hit the transmission. I'm guessing they should have been installed so that when the are extracted they don't do that.
Sure, I could drop the engine and transmission, but please someone don't tell me that's the only way to do it! Is there not some way to fiddle/jiggle with the tranny/engine such that I can get the bolt out without such drastic measures? Otherwise, I'm guessing it ain't easy to replace bearings etc. in situ.
