The first time you do it its very time consuming, specially if your picky like me and have to paint all the nuts and bolts to in their correct colour. It also has the advantage to that you can identify any oil or water leaks very early on and sort them before they become a problem.

Pick a thermo, any thermo you want. No its not under that one :D

Thank you Kevin as always.

Progress on the engine bay iscoming along nicely. I think it might be finished by next week then I can move on to the interior.

Thank you for the very kind comment but I think the photo's are more flattering than real life. It has it many flaws. In my defence I'm not going for concours, just "I'm happy with that".

Boy its slow going at points. It took me an hour  this morning just to clean one headlight. Its the one on the left by the way :D it pretty much looked like the one on the right when I started.

Paint jobs and engines get all the glamour but it's doing the detail stuff like this that sets a car apart (y).

Well despite getting a chance to work on the car for almost 3 hours tonight I have now excepted defeat in that I am not going to make the March 22 deadline to have the car finished :(
That is the night the new Fiat/Abarth/Alfa dealer has its official opening and they wanted the car for the opening and for the launch of the Panda 3. They had realised that my Panda is exactly the same as the one Fiat uses for some of their motor shows and as some of the Fiat top brass are coming over for the opening, thought it would have been a nice touch having one on show. There's just no way I can get the car done for the date.
I did get a coat of primer on the new wing, but

I still have the front suspension to build
Brakes and piping to be done
Doors, bonnet and boot to be painted
interior to be cleaned and fitted.
and loads of other little bits to be cleaned and painted.

Oh well, I tried.
