Nice! Are they brown Stuart? If so what paint did you use?

They are the same grey as the body. The paint is now classed as unobtainium by the look of things. Its a plastic paint specially for bumpers but worked out to be the correct colour of the bottom half of the car. I'll get you the make but my paint supplier is having serious trouble finding me anymore. It seems to be no longer available, hence the unobtainium lable. I've my tin under lock and key!

Thanks Stuart but Gavin's Mk1 is a dark brown, it's the original finish so I'm a little surprised. If I can't get a supply of the stuff I'm hoping that Hammerite no. 1 in Dk brown will do the job.

Mines are also dark grey not brown, and looking at period press reports and brochures bumpers are always grey like rest of bottom half of early panda's.

I thought it was a dark grey? It started out a lighter grey until the original colour came back gradually, so clearly fades over time. I'm pretty sure it's dark grey originally which then matches the bumpers - I have pics before the colour came back where it definitely looks mid/dark grey (not brown).
