Hello! Can somebody please help me with understanding what is the correct specs for steel rims (just a cheap van like) for 2013 fiat qubo 1.3 diesel multijet?
I currently have 16 inch original alloys on that are quite scratched so want to get some black steel ones also 16 inch but there are so many dimensions if you look for them online such as bore size, offset and so on that I'm getting a bit lost.
Many thanks.

Hello,

Oponeo.co.uk suggests 15" steel rims for the Qubo. Check your actual rims to confirm. All the numbers should be stamped on them (in the center):

They're listing the size (first number is rim width, second is diameter in inches), the offset in mm (it is marked as ET on the rims, can be positive or negative, it is the distance of the base of the rim to its center), the PCD (the number and distance of the mounting holes in mm), the central bore (the diameter of the inner hole, which should correspond the size of the hub - plastic adapters are available).

The offset is well explained here:

Read the oponeo articles, they explain what changes are acceptable.

Thank you very much! That explains a lot of the measurements. I think I had a quick look on this website and they did show 15inch rim however mine are 16 and I just had 4 new tires fitted that I'm planning to get re fitted on steel ones once I get them. I suppose I just have to look at the numbers like you suggested and try to find 16.

ePER, the Fiat parts listing shows steels at 14" or 15", and alloys at 15" and 16".
If you want 16" steels, you'll need to trawl the Fiat vehicles to see if any had steels of that diameter. Chances are that the central bore and stud pitch circle will match, but care is needed with the offset.
15" steels, with higher profile tyres will be more comfortable on the road. They'll also be softer in response to steering inputs, but this is not a sports car.

Does it have a spare? If its a full size, you could try to match it.

When looking for options, remember the Citroen Nemo and Peugeot Bipper are the same van.

Thank you for your reply and explanation. Had some more searching around online and realised exactly what you just said - steel 14,15 and alloys 15,16. Suppose I will have to stick to my old alloys as I just changed all 4 tyres and don't want to get rid of them just to have black steels. Maybe I just try to restore my bashed up rims and maybe paint them black or something.
