Tuning Starting issues

Hi All, I have recently upgraded my cylinder and pistons to the 70mm ones from ricambio.

I've got the engine back in the car and it turns over fine, but won't fire.. I just get a popping noise from the carburettor. Looking at it with the top of the carburettor it seems to be a small combustion happening... I've got spark and the the coil, condenser and points are all new.. the timing is correct so I'm struggling to understand what the issue is. Do you think the carburettor is blocked in some way.

It's got new leads so don't think there an issue. The whole ignition system is new and the spark is good.. I just thinking it must be a carb issue

I meant switching plug lead 1 onto no 2 plug and vice versa, either at the plug or at the distributor cap

Thanks Toshi I swapped the leads had them going the wrong way, fired up straight away sounds great.. simple things feels a bit down on power and won't idle off the choke so think the carburettor needs a good service
