Technical Jump Starting Classic 500

Hi,

Relatively new to the world of classic fiats and need to jump start my 1970 500F, are there any tips or tricks or issues I should be aware of or is it the same as jumping a modern day car?

Hello,

I'd say it's even easier. The only problem could be getting to the 500's battery with cables. Hope that the battery is modern and in good health. And simply got discharged.

Remember also that the 500 pump takes some time to fill the carb bowl before firing so don't turn the engine over for long periods as the jump leads with become roasting.
