When i press my clutch i hear a sqeaky sound. I unhooked the clutch cable and i still hear the squeaky sound. Looks like it comes from the spring on the left side of the pedal. Anything i can do about it?
Don't worry, you can likely fix this yourself for less than £4.
If it's coming from the pedal area inside the car, then it's the pedal bushes drying out; nothing to do with the clutch itself.
A quick spray of silicone lubricant (NOT WD40) in the right place (lie on your back with the door open and look up to see where the pedal pivots) and it should be good as new.
WD40 also do a silicon lube spray (yellow top rather than red)
I use silicon spray on lots of stuff anda a plastic lubricant its great. It stops the dash creaking on our 2014 car. It needs a good squirt annually. Its excellent on sticking curtain hooks and stiff loft ladders that wont slide. I used it recently on our dehumidifer when the water container was sticking. Its very handy stuff to have around. Black magic.
Up and over garage door runners its amazing!
